No matter how diligent you are about brushing and flossing, no matter how carefully we examine your teeth, sometimes trouble develops — and it could be hiding under the surface with no visible evidence. That’s why we recommend having x-rays taken at regular intervals. Because we suggest that our patients have these x-rays taken at least every three years, we have invested in the best, low-radiation digital x-ray technology. Digital x-ray technology is now so advanced that it exposes you and your family to as little as 1/10th of the radiation produced by traditional x-rays, while offering the crispest, cleanest images, immediately available to view on our in-room computers.
We also offer panoramic x-rays for our very young patients, those with a strong gag reflex, or those who need an overall evaluation of their head, neck, jaw, and oral cavity.
Either x-ray method allows us to store your x-rays digitally for quick access, easy comparison from visit to visit, and instant sharing with specialists when necessary.
